1. Scope
This agreement applies to every domain registered, renewed or transferred through Maram Host, together with the Terms of Service.
2. Generic domains
Generic domains (such as .com, .net and .org) are registered through an ICANN-accredited registrar and are subject to its policies and ICANN policies, including the Uniform Domain-Name Dispute-Resolution Policy (UDRP).
3. .iq domains
.iq domains follow the rules of the Iraqi Communications and Media Commission (CMC) and are registered through a CMC-accredited registrar. The CMC requires documents depending on the domain type; a .com.iq domain must match the company name on its certificate, and names of official bodies are reserved.
4. Accurate data
You are responsible for accurate registrant data and documents; inaccurate data may lead to rejection or cancellation.
5. Changes and refunds
A domain name cannot be changed after registration and its fee is not refundable. Check the name before paying.
6. Renewal
Renewing a domain before it expires is your responsibility. The CMC may charge a fine for renewing a .iq domain late.
7. Transfers
Transfers between registrars follow the relevant procedure: an EPP transfer code for generic domains and an official letter for .iq domains.
8. Ownership
The domain is registered in your name as given in the order, and you may request a copy of your domain data after activation.
